For more than a year rumors have been floating around that interest rates will suddenly rise and cause the housing market to shift. Each quarter that has come and gone seems to indicate the contrary.
So when will we actually see a change in interest rates? Well, the answer is it's already started. However, what we haven't seen is a dramatic change and we shouldn't expect to for at least another year.
Given the fact we're currently in a Presidential Election year it's wise not to make to many changes all at once that could throw the market into a whirlwind. Therefore what we've noticed are really small incremental changes to interest rates to ensure buyers remain confident about purchasing homes.
Of course this kind of cheap money won't last forever but we could likely plan for another 12 months of low interest rates.
