Leaving nothing to chance means doing absolutely all that is required of you--and then some. Even when you're not comfortable doing it and even when you don't feel up to it on a Thursday.
It means that you made the calls, that you shipped the project, that you spent the money, and that you put in the time.
Anything less than you're all means there's a possibility that you didn't do enough. And leaving something that's so important to you to chance would be a shame.
